1.
How can the First Stone® credit file clean-up
program work for me?
The First Stone® credit file
clean-up program can greatly improve anyone's credit file,
but they must pay attention and follow our instructions.
As a consumer,
you have certain rights under the Consumer Credit Protection
Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Although
credit file clean-up is not an exact science, we know the
rules and own and utilize the only PROVEN methods to assert
those rights on your behalf.
At First
Stone® we truly understand that every
credit situation is different. Therefore, we've designed a
customized program that combines our unique services to create
a credit restoration package for each client. Our program
begins with a thorough, professional evaluation of your current
credit history. During this one-on-one consultation (by telephone
or in person), we will discuss your problems in detail and
agree upon the best course of action for your unique situation.
Our ultimate
goal for every client is permanent restoration with removal or correction of all the negative items within your credit file.
2.
How long does it take?
This
is a difficult question to answer specifically. Remember, this is not an exact science and everyone's situation
is unique because of the many variables. However, after professional
evaluation of your credit report, we will have a more accurate
estimate about the time required. Statistically, a majority
of our clients take between four and seven months for restoration.
Once again, it depends on the particular circumstances and
problems. After evaluation, we can more closely estimate how
long it will take. Every credit situation is different.
That's why each First Stone® program
is customized and more importantly - WORKS.
NOTE: Should
we discover during the evaluation process that we cannot restore
your credit file within two (2) years, we may recommend that
you see a bankruptcy attorney first. Once your bankruptcy
case has been discharged, we offer an After Bankruptcy clean up and restoration program which
usually takes twelve (12) to thirteen (13) months. This can
prevent an additional seven (7) to ten (10) years (or longer)
of "credit hell".
3. What
if I need my credit restored overnight? Is there any thing
faster?
There are
no known legal methods
for overnight file clean-up or 'credit repair', etc. All who
claim to the contrary are irresponsible and should be immediately
dismissed. Many of those who have claimed "overnight
credit repair" went to prison, and many others (who make
similar claims) are likely to be joining them.
4.
How much does it cost?
Actually, the more relevant question may be 'What
does it save?' Our fees are based on the number of items and
the degree of difficulty involved with cleaning each line
item. Remember that everyone's credit situation is different.
After a complete evaluation of your individual credit file,
we will be able to give you a total cost of your restoration
project. All fees are disclosed without obligation
prior to a contractual agreement. Please keep in mind
that some items may require legal assistance which could require
referral to an expert credit attorney.
5.
Does First Stone® accept installment payments?
Yes. We
are pleased to offer in-house financing with zero interest
for up to one year. Payment by personal check, credit card,
debit card or direct bank draft is accepted.
6. Are
there additional evaluation fees if I include my spouse?
If you
would like to have your credits reports evaluated by one of
First Stone's® certified credit counselors,
the fee is $150 for an individual and $200 for a married couple,
which allows us to secure a professional mortgage-type merged infile for your credit report
with FICO risk scores.
7.
First Stone® is located in Dallas, Texas,
and I live in another state. Can
you help me?
Yes. First Stone® is U. S.
Treasury approved and therefore legal to perform credit file
'clean up' and restoration in all fifty (50) states. We use
a combination of methods to communicate with you; telephone,
e-mail, U. S. Postal Service and FAX.
8.

9. Many
people still ask, "Why was I having so much trouble restoring
or repairing my own credit myself?"
The law and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the
federal business and credit police, actually encourage everyone
to do just that. However, the reality is:
- You probably don't speak the credit language
and that's an immediate tip-off that you are a consumer.
God forbid that any consumer should learn the truth about
the American Credit system and publish it!
- If you identity yourself as a consumer, you'll
be treated as follows:
- Led "down the path" to hang yourself
(after all, you cheated them first . . . right?)
- Secretly branded as a true "deadbeat"
forever for daring to challenge the "omnipotent"
credit bureaus. Henceforth, you'll experience ten times
the trouble trying to correct anything.
Believe
us when we tell you that the credit system is just that a
"system of onerous people" (credit bureaus, creditors,
lenders and others) who stick together to keep you in a "virtual
walking debtor's prison" for as long as legally possible.
After all, it was your fault . . . right? And it pays them
well to keep you where you are. Because above all else . .
. bad news sells.
